3) Beijing Immersion
Ah yes best one of all. It is on 27 October, meet latest at 2.45pm at Changi Airport Terminal 2 Departure Hall. If you want to, let's meet earlier at 1.30pm. Place to be decided.

Definition of EUTROPHICATION

The definition of eutrophication, as SPC had asked, is the rapid growth of certain plant species, normally those growing on the surface (such as algae), because of excessive plant growth enhancement chemicals (fertilizers) present in the water body. These fertilizers are present because of run-off from nearby farms, or illegal dumping.

Effects of EUTROPHICATION:
1) Imbalance of oxygen levels. [COMPULSORY]
The fertilizers will form a layer somewhere below the surface, called the PYCNOCLINE LAYER. This layer is thick and blocks oxygen to the area underneath it; hence animals (especially IMMOBILE animals) living below suffocate and dies.

2) Enhanced growth of bacteria. [related to Imbalance, but NOT COMPULSORY]
As you know, bacteria need not have oxygen to respire, hence the word ANAEROBIC. Mentioned above, the PYCNOCLINE LAYER blocks oxygen, and will promote the growth of such bacteria. One worrying issue is that the Clostridium Botulinum (you know this during HomeEc) bacteria will thrive and infect the water body and the organisms. In the end, we humans will be affected.

3) Death. [related to Imbalance]
If there is no oxgen deep below, organisms suffocate and die. A few days after they had died, their corpses will begin to rot and stink up the whole water body, making it so much like hell that we humans can't use it.

4) Ravaged ecosystem.
As said above, organisms die, and consumers may follow suit (no food). Because of the increase in the chemicals, or rather, imbalance in the chemical proportion of the affected water body, new species may enter the ecosystem and disrupt the whole ecosystem till it becomes something like your desk.

5) Toxins.
This is also rather worrying. The increase in the amount of fertilizers and chemicals may enhance a species of harmful alga that have toxins. Consumers of the alga may be poisoned. If we happen to eat that consumer, it's Good Luck Have Fun to us.
A good example is the shellfish poisoning incident (Shumway 1990).

That's all. If there are any problems with anything, please inform me ASAP. I don't want to cause anybody to fail their test.

Deer 2B stoodents,

Preesh be innformed that there weel be a Moo-Vee owting at Tampines Mall on 17th July 2006(Monday). We weel be watching Pirates of the Carribean : Dead Man's Chest.

School weel be releesed at 12pm on that day due to the 'O' Level Leesening Comprehension crap. Preesh meet at Tampines MRT Station at 2:30pm. We weel be watching eether the 3.30pm or 4.40pm moo-vee, depending on the circumstances. Affter that, eef you all waant, we can go makan together.

Harlowz pple=D i'm back in action again.. lols.. jk~ err.. since the blog is so dead( dead in the sense no one post) so i shall post~ HAHAHA.. dunoe what to say.. maybe i'll say sth about yesterday's bus trip home..

So yesterday took bus home with vivvy, ivan, banana, pohchun and ben'gan~ then the bus was damn crowded mah.. then at one stop hor.. got a few pple alighted.. then got this old man walk towards the door.. then who knows the door close.. so i wanted to be nice and help him press the bell so that the bus uncle will know that still got pple haven't alight.. kanasai lah who knows that old man dun wan to alight..

MORAL OF THE STORY: DON'T DO ANYTHING IF U R NOT ASKED TO, EVEN IF THATS A GOOD DEED

Anywayz i strongly encouraged all those pple who never go to the esplanade concert thingy to go COZ GOT ALOT OF TWOBEE PPLE PERFORMING.. haha.. WISHING WELL~

Hey people. JC here.
As SPC requested, I am here to tell you guys about the Wishing Well.
Once upon a time, at the year 2006, a boy called Young Yee went to the toilet with us guys to change for PE.
As you all may know, or may not know, Young Yee DOES NOT carry a wallet. Don't ask me why.
To enhance reading pleasure, I shall describe the whole situation bit by bit.
Young Yee unbuttoned his pants, ever so careful not to burst the buckle. Then he slipped off his pants. Along the way down, to the floor, the coins somehow managed to find their way into the stinking urinal that was having an attitude, positioning itself beside poor Young Yee.

TINKLE!
CLING!
CLANG!
"ARGH!"

And here we are.
Young Yee's coins tinkled, clinged, clanged their way to the stinker. I approximated the amount to be at least $2. And some coins even slipped down the drain, which emitted a mixture of smells that told, not only urine was deposited there.
I happened to be there when the whole incident happened, but after I finished laughing, I went off. Sorry Young Yee, for not helping you pick up those coins!
As for what happened after that, you will have to ask SPC.

I would like to appeal to you that, although I do not really disapprove of nagging, please do so in a more discreet manner, in a manner which is away from the public's eye.

As said in your latest post, "this website is open to everybody, WORLDWIDE". It should have come to your mind that people worldwide might be reading your naggy posts. This nagging on prejudism might mislead the public to believe that we, Class 2B(2006) of Anglican High School, are prejudiced against races and religions, although we are not. This might tarnish the class' reputation. So, as you can see, this nagging resembles a double-edged sword.

I would like to suggest that you nag at us while we are in school, or call us up on our phones to nag instead of posting your displeasure on the blog. Also, I would like trouble you be asking that you to have more trust in us. I believe that, we, as teenagers, are able to differentiate right from wrong. I am sure that we are able to tell that discrimination is something despicable and should not be practiced, although some of us still need to be reminded from time to time. I, however, think that we are still reasonably well-behaved as we do not take part in any immoral activities. I decline to give examples of such.

I would like to use this opportunity to wish you the best of luck in the upcoming Literature Examination.

ok since there has been negative feedback on the fining system, i think we should have a poll to know how people feel about the fines. honestly i dunch think fining is a good way too, im VERY sure there are other ways to get people to do duty. For example, threatening, or taking advantage of other's weaknesses =x. thats all i have to say =)

No worries kids, my post is NOT going to be as long as ying zhi's, nor is it going to be as naggy.
Seriously ying zhi, if you continue to nag on the blog, no one is going to come to this blog any longer...
You can nag in class..we don't care...

So anyway,
just wanted to say that twobee is one of the best class i have ever been in....
we are fun and funny,
we get good results, although people like me pull the average down once in a while...
we can "kick other class' ass" in competitions..

We do stupid things like throwing things out of the windows,
Horrible things like discriminating china,
Mean things like throwing things at kang ning..(debatable, for sometimes he really DOES deserve it)
and funny things like the "wishing well" incident(familiar eh young yee?)

Yep, such things are part and parcel of our class.
It's what makes us unique..

Therefore, I sincerely hope that you kids will continue to do stupid things. to keep the class alive!!!

Alot of pple complained that the $2 fine is stupid..

I doubt so..

So why did those pple find the $2 fines stupid?

the reason is simple.

Coz they find it ex..

and why they find it ex?

coz they are afraid that that would haf to pay the fine

And this shows that they are pple who dun do duty

as simple as dat.

I'm really really pissed off with the fact that they wanna complain that $2 is too

costly and starts blaming me why do i haf to come up with the fine.. the fact is that

they wun haf to pay it IF they do their duty..

Is doing duty really THAT difficult?

as if it would kill u..

u just haf to clean the whiteboard.

sweep the floor

clear the rubbish bin

and they are not really dirty anywayz..

dun forget those litters are also what u use in school

papers, rubberbands, erasers

its not like i'm asking u to use ur hands and pick up the noseshit or spits.

SO PLEASE STOP COMPLAINING.

BLAH BLAH BLAH" if u wan the please tag and tell me!! coz i feel that my posts are rather boring.. really lorz.. but nevermind~

Recently it haf been raining and raining.. and our classroom r kinda flooded everytime even if we close the windows... i heard from other classes that the water leaked from the ceiling.. coz 2E and 2F haf the same problem then they say is the ceiling leak.. but thats not the main point.. Anywayz.. so nowadays our classroom floors are always WET and that makes the sweeping of the floor ultra difficult.. so our classroom is getting really dirty... hiyz.. i tried sweeping the floor but the broom got wet and those litters simply stick onto the floor lor.. hiyz..so everyone.. please try to pick up the litters IF U MANAGE TO SEE ANY using ur PRECIOUS hands.. i mean.. i dun think they are very dirty right.. those water are rainwater anywayz.. and those litters are mostly like.. erasers.. small pieces of paper... or at most sweet wrappers.. so.. please be responsible and play ur part..

I've notice that nowadays ben'tan likes to throw erasers and papers at kangning's head.. hm.. i shan't comment bout that coz i dunoe what's REALLY going on. but..what i wanna say is.. PLESAE BE RESPONSIBLE FOR TO STUFF THAT U THROW.. WALAU.. U THROW THE STUFF LER AND THEN U DUN WAN TO PICK UP AND U DUN WAN TO DO UR DUTY.. THOSE WHO DID NOT DO UR DUTY WILL HAF TO PAY FINE.. WHICH IS $2 TO THE CLASS FUND!![ i'm damn serious about it.. if u dun do it. u pay for it..]

Heyy pplez~!! Happy April Fool's day!! Lolz.. dun worry.. my post isn't a trick or anything.. i'm not that childish afterall =O[ying zhi here by the way..]... lolz.. On the coming monday we will be having a science common test!! Chapter 6 and Chapter 11~!! Sexual Reproduction in Human Beings and Changing Matter ... Everyone must jiayouss and we shall all score very well for it!! and be the best class for science [ not only science but ALL the other subjects!!] lolz.. i abit zi high now.. lolz..

Now i'm listening to one of the songs from ' the hours' soundtrack.. called morning passages.. i only managed to download this song.. i like this song because it gives me a mysterious feeling?? keeps me in suspend.. This movie is M18 if i'm not wrong.. but dunoe why channel 5 played this movie last saturday around 10.30p.m if i'm not wrong.. can't remember too clearly.. no obscence images.. dun worry.. haha.. its about three women who haf some sort of similarity bah.. just that they come form different ERAs.. lolz.. Nicole Kidman is in it too!! lolz.. its very very difficult to understand.. but i just like it.. haha..

Hmm.. back to class cleaniness topic.. The classroom is still dirty.. but got A LITTLE bit improvment only.. A LITTLE LITTLE BIT.. still haf ALOT of SPACE FOR IMPROVEMENT!! this week everyone [ if i'm not wrong] haf been doing duty.. DUH.. its the girls row.. lolz.. the coming week its the boys row turn to do duty.. so.. U GUYS MUST MUST MUST do duty okay.. coz my keeping class clean we earn some points I THINK.. haha.. we might not be the clean-nest.. but we MUST NOT be the dirtiest.. haha..i will set an example by sweeping the classroom whenever i'm free.. haha..[take my word-]

I believe all of us must haf MUCH fun playing with that clay during art lesson.. i had lots of fun too.. lolz.. u can see ms clare is doing her best to teach us.. may it be english or art.. so we must not let her down.. so we must be so disruptive during lessons.. okie?? haha.. not only to ms clare.. but for all the teachers too!! especially chen lao shi who is our form teacher.. haha.. she is not very bad after all = )

you know, i'm reallyreally bored that i've decided to talk about this class, baby!(:

i guess it's all the jokes, rumours, lame stuff and teachers what make this class so wonderful. we really are good, come to think of it. we seldom have conflicts like world wars. we seldom get angry with people over a long period of time. the best thing about it, we study and mug like crazy when it comes to examinations ( i know i sound all studious here xp ).

it's like, we know how to control ourselves and not go overboard at times. limits are there, but sometimes the teachers just turn us off with all the boring subjects and monotone teachings. heh.

and we all just gonna be enthusiastic about class activities, yeah? haha.

alright, that's about it.
